Pissed!!!

Well I have not posted in a while...because my company sent me on a 5 week onsite engagement to a client of ours. I am still here and putting in some long hours.

I have not played all that much in the last few weeks, but everytime I do, it has been a disaster.
Between being card dead and getting sucked out, I am pretty pissed. I just hope I can play through this, because I do not remmember such a long strech of suckouts.

Here is some hands:
AK loses to A9
QQ loses to AJ when they catch an inside straight on the river
KK loses to AJ when they catch an inside straight on the river
QQ lost ATo and AJo when they both flopped an Ace
AQ lost to A3
and the gem of them all, I bubbled in a tournament with this hand:

Very Frustrating

I played in my weekly home game and went from second in chips to being out of the tournament within 3 hands.

AKs, I raise and get re-raised by an all in player for $500 more. Easy call for me. He has 88.
Flop has an Ace, but he turns the 8. I am down to 1200 in chips.
Next hand I am in the BB and have K8 and see a free flop 3 handed.
It comes 8 high, but the SB moves all in. I have him covered by $300. I call.
I have top pair and he has 74o for bottom pair, but again he turn a seven and gets 2 pair.
Next hand I get A6o and call a raise from someone holding JJ.

When will this end......

A few More

QQ loses to AJs when they flop an Ace
KK loses to A6o when they flop a set of sixes (KK SUX)
A9 loses to 73 (LOL) I flop a four flush and they flop a 3.

Thank god for cash games!!!!

Past 2 days

I have played in Over 10 tourneys the last couple of days and I am getting no love from the poker gods. I have lost so many hands I was dominating it is not even funny. Here are a few examples:
QQ vs AQ on a gutshot straight on the river
AA vs 98 when he made a set of eights when I moved in on a eight high flop.
KK vs QQ of course the Queen flops
AQ vs JT I flop 2 pair and he turnes a straight
JJ vs 87 he turned a straight
KK vs 87 he rivered a straight.

Some pretty sick beats, but I know my turn is coming soon.

Until next time....

Feb. Update

February was my best month ever!
This included 5 MTT final tables with 3 of those being wins.
I played 34 MTT and averaged a finish in the top 25%, not too bad.
Cash games were not too bad either. I started the month pretty slow, but finished up winning 8 of the last 10 sessions. I have slowly moved through $2/4, $3/6, and now working on $5/$10. I need another $1000 or $1500 in winnings to move to the $10/$20 level. My bankroll is big enough now, but I told myself, I wanted to do it the hard way and earn it. This will give me the chance to see a lot of hands at the current level, besides most of the banroll is from MTT and I do not want to use it for ring games.

I just got back from skiing in Lake Tahoe and now it is back to the grind in March.

BTW...Big congrats to THEOSU for winning his WSOP seat on Full Tilt.

Until Next time...
